This Privacy Policy explains how Aperture collects, uses, and protects your information. Aperture offers two products operated by two affiliated Wyoming limited liability companies: the analytics platform, operated by Aperture Tools, LLC, and the trading terminal and related on-chain swap services (the "Trading Services"), operated by Aperture Labs, LLC. The General practices below apply to all products; the product-specific Supplements describe additional practices for each. By using any Aperture product, you agree to the practices described here. Questions? Contact us at support@aperturetools.com.
Applies to all Aperture products.
Account Information. When you register, we collect your email address, username, and a hashed password. We never store your password in plain text.
Payment Information. Subscription and fee billing is handled by our third-party payment processor. We do not see, store, or process your full card number or any payment credentials.
Usage and Technical Data. We collect session data through server-side authentication cookies that keep you logged in. We also use PostHog, a product-analytics tool, to understand how people use the products; it records page views and in-app events (such as feature usage) and links them to your username once you sign in.
We use your information to operate and improve the Aperture products, including to authenticate your account, provide the features you use, process billing, respond to support requests, and maintain the security and integrity of the products. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
We use session cookies that are strictly necessary for authentication; these expire when your session ends. We also set a first-party PostHog analytics cookie (ph_*), which tracks page views and feature usage and persists for up to one year. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate purposes such as fraud prevention, regulatory compliance, or dispute resolution.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@aperturetools.com. Some data may be retained where required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will reflect any changes. Continued use of the products after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
Operated by Aperture Tools, LLC.
To provide analytics, you submit public Solana wallet addresses to the platform. We store these addresses along with any notes or journal content you create within the app. We use this data solely to display your trading analytics and journal to you.
We work with trusted providers to operate the analytics platform, including for authentication, hosting, payment processing (Stripe), and product analytics (PostHog — see posthog.com/privacy). On-chain and market data is sourced from third-party data providers. All providers are limited to using your data only as necessary to deliver their services. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Operated by Aperture Labs, LLC.
We store the public keys of the wallets provisioned for or imported by you, along with records of the transactions you initiate through the Trading Services (such as swap parameters, amounts, tokens, timestamps, and resulting on-chain signatures). Your private keys are held only in encrypted form and are never accessible to us in plain text; we do not custody your digital assets. See the Trading Terminal Supplement of our Terms for details.
Where we perform Know Your Customer (KYC) or Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks, we may collect identity documents and related information you provide, such as government identification or proof of address. We collect this only when required by law or where we deem it necessary, and we retain it only as long as needed for compliance, including any legally required recordkeeping periods.
Transactions executed through the Trading Services are broadcast to and recorded on public blockchains. Blockchain data, including wallet addresses and transaction details, is public, permanent, and outside our control. Once a transaction is submitted, it generally cannot be altered, reversed, or deleted, and we cannot remove it from the blockchain.
We rely on third-party providers to operate the Trading Services, including blockchain RPC and transaction-routing infrastructure (such as Helius), decentralized exchanges and aggregators through which swaps are routed (such as Jupiter, PumpFun, PumpSwap, and Raydium), hosting providers, and payment processors. These providers receive only the data necessary to perform their function. Decentralized protocols operate independently of us and are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption of sensitive key material within hardware-isolated infrastructure. However, no system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and any exported keys.
